Jim Edwards is best known for his cityscape and landscape painting, capturing the iconic location of the North East. His work follows a theme of architecturally inspired structures and dominating linear form, with compositions evolving from a combination of imagination and selective memory.
Jim works from his 57 Lime Street, right in the heart of the Ouseburn. By combining his studio alongside a separate gallery environment, he’s created a unique space to paint in, whilst showcasing all his latest paintings, limited edition prints and greetings cards.
Visit Jim at the Spring Ouseburn Open Studios, last weekend in March, where he’ll be on hand to talk about his creative practice.
